Sunburnt Country
Sunburnt Country was inspired by Bill Bryson’s book “In a Sunburnt Country”, a book describing Australia with facts and dark humour. This organic nature inspired shows balance, the fluid movement and ease of how nature flows. For instance, water flowing in a brook and its flexibility to move around the obstacles.
This piece is apart of my approach to abstract expressionism using alcohol ink. It balances my passion for the intensity of abstract expressionism with its explosive movements combined with the finesse of softer approaches such as the watercolour technique.
There are a variety of options to choose your print. The vinyl is the only material at this time that has the option of ordering the gold leaf addition.

Paintings are professionally packaged in a custom box by shipping agent. Ships within 2-3 business days. This comes with warranty and tracking provided by shipping agent. Shipping time depends on destination, and weekend / holiday times and shipper’s business hours.

Please include your phone number when you are checking out as this is required for shipping labels in the case that the courier needs to contact you. Once package is sent, you will receive an email from me with your tracking number.
Local to the St. Kilda and Endeavour Hills area can collect artwork. If I have a market in your area and the purchase has been completed, a pick up at the market can also be arranged. Please allow 2 days notice for arrangements. Pick up available
